Action plan-
Creating an action plan helped me stay on track and divide my time wisely so I would stress less and live day to day in a balanced way. Keeping myself to these short deadlines always ensured I knew my current priorities and kept me from procrastinating. Developing a criteria helped me identify the success and most effective outcome of the product. It helped me challenge myself as I set rigorous targets which I palpably wanted to achieve to reach the full marks. I used the MYP subject criteria that most of my subjects have been using to draw inspiration from and create my own. I chose aesthetics, functionality, content and target audience as I found them to be most applicable to book writing. The aesthetic part focuses mainly on the cover of the book and whether the visual appeal is appropriate to the story; Functionality refers to the creation of it; Content refers to the information presented; Target audience focuses on the accessibility, and the people at which the book is targeted at. In addition, I created a journal in which i kept track and wrote about the most vocal points of my project and the process over the past few months. It included the aim of the journal extract, the date of which the activity took place, some notes, a reflection and finally evidence of the activity being done. This helped me greatly when looking back at it as my notes came in handy when I had to improve some things at the end and look back at my original ideas for a refresher. |
